I tell stories- That's what I do....
Today is 12/18/2013
yesterday I only wrote 395 words for a total of 13050 Total Words in my new story A DOLL IN THE WOODS. That is no where near what my daily goal is. Which is why I am trying to change up my system. I have started documenting how many words I have written per day, which hope to challenge myself as I change up my system to get these things done. Another thing I may do... is work on the story first- Then write this blog.
Writing is very important to me. It is a constant job. No matter what- I can write and I love it when a story begins writing itself. When I am so involved and the characters begin to come to life. Writing stories constantly keeps my imagination working and is a main ingredient when it comes to bringing worlds to life, which is what I see. Everything that I do, tells a story one way of another. Acting, Singing, Writing, it all tells a story.
As far as a Sunday School Teacher,
The approach I use is very similar to Bibliodrama. I am teaching Drama to kids.
My class age ranges all over from Kindergarden to 6th Grade. I was given a work book that has the stories from the bible I am suppsed to be teaching every week. I use those stories.... but instead of using the work books- I have the students read the stories out loud. Sometimes the older read them, sometimes the younger read them and I have the older kids help them... either way... they are read. Then We divide the characters up between the students and we act out the entire scene from the bible. Afterwards, we sit down and discuss what we just acted out. Not just what we acted out.... but how they feel about what we just acted out... each students interpretation of wehat is going on.
What makes this even cooler is that I have moved the classroom in to The Fellowship Hall which is where the stage is being rebuilt in my fathers name The John R. Inlow Memorial Stage. They get to act on the stage!!!!
Once again, stories. Not only and I teaching kids stories, I am teaching them the art of presenting stories and rebuilding the stage is providing a place for other people and groups a place for them to tell stories. The stage is being rebuilt in my fathers name, The John R. Inlow Memorial Stage. I loved my father alot he was a great father. He also loved stories.
I am still $20,000 dollars away from getting this stage fixed and even after that it will always be a work in progress..... people can make donations at
http://wesleyva.org/
By The Way, I will check to see how many orders came in from the 5 ten Restaurant. Hopefully quite a few- every dollar helps....
other things to do today

Introduction to Being Christopher Inlow and I.
Today is 12/17/2013
I am currently at 12, 655 words in my new story currently titled A DOLL IN THE WOODS.
My name is Christopher Inlow. I am an actor, singer, writer, children's poet and uhhhh not so children's poet. I act in film, I act on stage, sing for a band called Above The Silence and sing in the shower. I am an entertainer. Most importantly I am father to my 14 year old son.
This is the first blog in my collection of Being Christopher Inlow. I have been wanting something like this that will basically document what I am going through an entertainer. Let me say that this will most likely always be written in rough draft form. With every thing else going on I don't feel it necessary to quadruple check my War Journal here.
One of the main reasons I wanted to get this going is because I wanted to set a daily system of what i should be doing from day to day and how my various projects and life is going. I tend to stay involved with quite a few things and like many others I think I tend to get overwhelmed.
I can explain what I am up to, where I am at, did this work, did this not work, etc, etc. I am not trying to win any awards with this "blog" I am simply trying to control the outcome of my life by adding structure and a new system that I do not have. If I can get in the habitr of writing in this every day and explain what my goals are for the day perhaps I can get intro the habit of completing all of my goals.
So let me start,
There is a stage being rebuilt at Wesley United Methodist Church, which is where I teach Sunday School now. It is also where I and my family have been attending church since I was 5 years old.
Today is the last day to pre- order your food for the fund raidraiser at the 5 ten Restruant in Alexandria. The people there have been very nice and have created a menu for this event for us to order from. 50 percent of the money from the food ordered off this menu (From the first 200 people who order) will be donated to the stage. You order the food today and you pick up the food on Friday Dec 20th. I will be placing my order here shortly. Below I will put the menu for you to see.
I will also MUST work on my new story for a couple of hours at least.
I have also started reading the book "Faith in the Land of Make Believe" by Lee Stanley. I woke up at 4am this morning and began reading this. So far it is a- okay. I am liking it. I think everyone should constantly be reading. Your mind should always be working. That is the only way you will get any thing accomplished in life. There is alot of stuff to accomplish too. I have a lot of projects and Ideas. I can't wait to share them with you.
1) work on story
2) order food for fund raiser
3) clean something for heavens sake!
4) BAND PRACTICE at 6:30pm
5) Read FAITH IN THE LAND OF MAKE BELIEVE
6) Mailing list stuff
This blog/ war journal is going to be a project all in it own. Thank you for coming on this adventure with me...... if there is any body out there..... I will try and write a closing post every day as well. Just so I can keep up from day to day with what all I completed. It's a crazy world. I love to create. This is what I was put on this earth to do.
